DESIGN YOUR WORLD
We all go through stress, whether personal, academic, or social pressure. Many teenagers do not have the time to find their healing spaces, or do not know the opportunities they explore for a healthy form of escapism. We do not want teens to fall victim to horrible forms of escapism such as drugs or smoking. Even in our city of Santa Clarita, we have the biggest opioid addiction. Instead, we want them to utilize design softwares that will let them explore their interest in a positive light and have a healing space for them.
TOAST
This project was first a capstone to those at Prakses, so we created a pitch to display our intent for design your world. Here is our presentation and first draft idea of DYW.
LAYOUT
Through the use of figma, we designed the layout of what we wanted the website to look like. We made sure to make the website easy to interact with and visibly pleasing.
BUILD
For my build, I wanted to build a nature cafe and began getting ideas of how I wanted to incorporate the busy life of a cafe to the calming perspective of nature. Here is the video I created using capcut and the code for creating the website
